Christina R. Talley, CPA
Christina offers the community two decades of experience in
both public accounting and accounting for various industries,
including the medical field. She has been employed in both
large and small environments and currently focuses on the
needs of small to medium sized businesses and individuals.
Christina Talley earned her Arizona CPA license in 2000, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Binghamton University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Arizona State University. Christina is also a member of the American Institute of CPA's (AICPA), the Arizona Society of CPA's (ASCPA) and both the Flagstaff and Kingman Chambers of Commerce.
Prior to forming TalleyGold, Christina's accounting and industrial experience included employment at a global accounting firm, a foreign-owned energy company, a short-haul trucking company, an international financial services firm, a city hospital and a rural urgent care facility.
Joanne (Jo) Shute
Jo is a native Arizonan and grew up here in Northern Arizona, graduating from Grand Canyon High School and Northern Arizona University.She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NAU and worked for many years as a Civil Engineer on the Coconino National Forest. She found her way to Accounting after taking many years away from the workforce to be a stay-at-home homeschooling mom.
After discovering a love for the accounting process, Jo has become the payroll specialist and client relations coordinator for our firm. She really enjoys the mix of nerdy, precise data work and collaborative, client-centered business services.
Jo is a Christian and is an active member at her local church. She enjoys reading and cooking and spending time with her adult children and grandchildren when at home, but she loves most to be out in the outdoors of the American west and the Colorado Plateau – the most beautiful parts of the world!
Dakota Hitchcock
Dakota comes from a small town in Northeast Arizona where she graduated high school as a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Body president. She grew up fishing, shooting, and camping with her family, participating in Little League Softball, AYSO soccer, Girl Scouts, and 4H as a youngster. Just living the small town rural Americana lifestyle. She’s worked in just about every field a rural gal can, from fast food to convenience stores, to power plants.
Dakota graduated from Northern Arizona University a semester early in 2020 with a B.S. in Accountancy and has worked for TalleyGold since the summer of 2021. In her spare time between tax seasons, Dakota enjoys escape rooms, hunting dove with her mom, spending time exploring new restaurants and traveling.
